Frederick Bingham died from wounds on 27th August, 1917 after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information, as to when and where he was wounded. The 7th London battalion was part of 140 Brigade, 47th Division that had arrived in France in 1915 and had been involved in the fighting on the Western Front since that date.
